Learning Kubernetes

If you are beginning your journey with Kubernetes I have shared some learning resources in this blog article. I definitely recommend both KubeAcademy with the variety of VMware experts and also Nigel Poulton.

Kubernetes documentation hosted by Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). This website is the official open source home of Kuberenetes and is a good place to start for any documentation and training. It also has wealth of information about the Kubernetes/ Cloud native community and even has case studies of Kubernetes deployment in various industries and the massive benefit to organization as a result.

KubeAcademy from VMware. Product-agnostic Kubernetes and cloud-native technology education program.

Cloudskills.io are a subscription based training community have some courses on-demand and also do live streams on YouTube. See their courses delivered by Chad Crowell, who is a DevOps engineer who has focused on Kuberenetes.

Eric Shanks’s Blog. Staff Solutions Architect at VMware MAPBU. Eric focuses on Kubernetes and VMware Tanzu.

Nigel Poulton is well respected Kubernetes guru and author of award-winning “The Kubernetes Book” and “Docker Deep Dive” books. Nigel has courses at his website and Pluralsight for beginner to intermediate level
